Juliet Higgins' (Perdita Weeks) life is going to be in danger in the upcoming Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 9. She and her partner Thomas Magnum (Jay Hernandez) often take on complicated cases and arrested a lot of bad guys already. However, both of them made enemies along the way.
In Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 9, Higgins is in jeopardy after being abducted. It looks like some people that she and Magnum arrested in the past were planning to get back to them. They're possibly seeking revenge, something that dangerous people within this world usually do.
The title of Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 9 is "The Big Payback," which is a reference to what's coming to Higgins and her partner. Magnum needs to save her and has to race against time before it's too late. This is going to be a huge challenge since he needs to be careful with his actions to ensure her safety.
Based on the synopsis, he found out that Higgins' abduction is an act of revenge and it is related to one of the first cases he handled on the Island. In order to save his partner from her current situation, he -- along with TC (Stephen Hill) and Rick (Zachary Knighton) -- need to break out an ex-client from prison.
While this is an illegal move, Magnum recognized that this might be the only way to stop a criminal and save Higgins at the same time. But then, it is uncertain whether or not the other people in the department are willing to help him -- including Katsumoto (Tim Kang).
He may not be entirely agreed with the idea of breaking out a prisoner. However, even though he dislikes Magnum, he helps him when it's needed. Perhaps, Katsumoto will understand the reason why Magnum has to do it, as saving Higgins would be his top priority.
Right now, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Higgins in Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 9. In the promo, Magnum and Rick found her mobile phone and discover blood on the scene. This seemingly suggests that she is not in a good situation, wherever she may be.
As for whether or not Higgins will be killed off in the action-drama, there is no indication that Weeks is leaving the series. While she is in danger, it's unlikely she'll die given that she's one of the significant characters in the series. Hence, Magnum and the rest may find a way to save her.
