One Piece Episode 963, titled "Oden's Determination! Whitebeard's Test," will continue giving fans a glimpse of Oden Kozuki's journey. This time, he will be joining the Whitebeards, though it will never happen without an intense fight.
The anime series has been focusing on Oden's backstory and revealing essential details about Wano. However, in One Piece Episode 963, Oden is about to leave leave the nation.
The new episode's preview shows a battle between Oden and Whitebeard. As Oden badly wants to join the group, he will do his best to prove himself formidable to be one of them by going one-on-one with its leader Edward Newgate, per TV Season Spoilers.
If he happens to come out victorious, he knows he has the chance to sail with them outside of Wano. At the end of the clip, it looks like things are coming Oden's way after seeing him laughing and drinking with the Whitebeard.
By its looks, One Piece Episode 963 will feature how the Whitebeard allow Oden to be with them. From here, his new journey outside the New World country will begin.
In One Piece Episode 962, Oden managed to put every Kuri bandit down and faced their leader, Ashura Doji. The associates of Kozuki Sukiyaki's son then arrived and learned that he defeated Ashura.
From here, he became the daimyo of Kuri and turned the place into a great nation from being a lawless land. According to The Cinemaholic, Oden then asked his associates to be his samurais, to which the latter agreed.
Later, Oden rescued three Mink tribe members, Kawamatsu, Inuarashi, and Nekomamushi. With Shimotsuki Yasuie's advice, Oden's associates, Ashura, and the Minks learned the traits of being a great samurai.
Nine of Oden's associates then became to be the Nine Red Scabbards. One Piece Episode 963 then ended with the Whitebeard Pirates' arrival at the Itachi Port.
