Several international celebrities broke their silence amid the controversies surrounding BTS and German radio DJ Matthias Matushick. Earlier this week, the radio host slammed the K-Pop group on-air via Bayern 3 after hearing the septet's "Fix You" performance on MTV: UnpluggedFollowing the public's, especially ARMYs, outrage toward the radio personality on various social media platforms, artists from different countries joined the community to clap back at Matuschik, alongside his alleged "racist comments."

AllKpop reported that the most recent ones who spoke in solidarity with the K-Pop fans are Halsey, MAX, and Lauv. Taking their thoughts to their respective social media accounts, the three artists publicized their support and admiration toward the seven-member South Korean group.

The "Mean It" singer said that he is standing by his "BTS brothers," and everyone who has continued to be impacted by "racist remarks." He, also, mentioned the comments made by the German radio DJ on Bayern 3, adding that it was "hurtful," and that "no one should have to endure this."

Apart from criticizing the radio DJ, MAX, also, shared his adoration for BTS on Twitter. He said that the group is "one of the hardest working and most humble groups in the industry."

The artist, later on, said that the comments made toward the K-Pop group made him "sick." He, then, ended his post with an emphasis on how "unacceptable" it is to hate the septet and the whole Asian community.

The publication continued that Halsey, whom BTS have worked alongside in the past for "Boy with Luv," took her sentiments to Instagram. She echoed MAX's statements that the hateful comments are unacceptable, noting that it was "irresponsible and disgusting."

Another report from AllKpop, also, shared that various labels broke their silence, as well, about the controversy. Sony Music and Columbia Records released separate statements, saying that they "condemn all forms of racism and xenophobia."

Amid all the continued support toward the group, BTS has yet to release an official comment about the controversy. Likewise, the German radio host has yet to apologize on his own.

Billboard reported, however, that the radio station already released an official explanation, including a public apology, regarding the hateful and racist comments made by Matthias Matuschik. As stated, the DJ was only "presenting his opinion in an ironic, exaggerated way and with exaggerated excitement."

Despite this, Bayern 3 emphasized that this does not change the fact many people found his comments "hurtful or racist." Because of this, they apologized and assured the public that they would work on the matter with the radio personality.
