Fans now have the reason to celebrate as the epic final season of Eren's journey will continue in Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2. The first part of the series has now come to a close with Episode 16; fortunately, it will not be the end yet.

Anime Pony Canyon dropped an official trailer announcing the coming of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2. It will continue with Episode 76, resuming the events where the first half left off this winter.

Funimation's blog post, via CBR, revealed the fourth season's second cour is now in production. It will be part of the 2022 winter anime series and will be out on NHK in Japan.

No additional details about the next part were revealed, but it asked fans to stay tuned for further updates.

The final season started airing in December 2020 on NHK. Funimation and Crunchyroll, on the other hand, stream its episodes with English subtitles. Cartoon Network's Toonami block also start airing its English dub episodes in North America in January this year.

Meanwhile, it is now a big question as to how Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 will end. Polygon noted it was clear from the start that the first cour couldn't cover the entire conclusion of the series, making fans believed there would be a movie, a second cour, or it would end with its own storyline.

Its manga version is about to publish its final chapter this April. So with the announcement of the anime's continuation, fans can now expect it will be faithful to its source material.

It may conclude with the same storyline that the manga features, though its trailer didn't give anything away. It may be for some spoiler-related reasons that it only features a collage of the anime's fan-favorite characters and events.

In addition, fans are now flooding MAPPA studios with thanks after the announcement of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2, per Comicbook. The studio bravely takes the huge responsibility to continue animating Hajima Isayama's epic brainchild after no one else wants to take the helm from WIT Studio.

Fans love the anime's new quality, not to mention its acting and pacing. MAPPA has proven itself from day one. Now, they are more excited to witness more of it with the anime's continuation.

The anime's second part, starting with Episode 17 or Episode 76 overall, will be out in the winter, so it will be anytime from December 2021 to March 2022.
