Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) are going again on another mission in the upcoming Blue Bloods season 11 episode 11. The two have been working together over the past years and some of the cases they take on often put them in danger.

In Blue Bloods season 11 episode 11, a transgender community comes under attack which leads to Danny and Baez learning to become allies with them. The duo heads in a specific direction and it could open doors for them to find out the root of the problem.

Danny and Baez will try to figure out what causes the attack -- either an isolated incident or something more systematic. The procedural drama is delivering a storyline that reflects the current happenings in the real world. A lot of things may unfold here as they continue to take on the case.

Some of the preview photos of Blue Bloods season 11 episode 11 featured Danny and Baez seemingly listening to something. While working on this case together, their personal lives might also be tackled. The two had a conversation about their love life two episodes ago.

However, the budding romance between them hasn't been addressed since then. Perhaps, there could be some realizations while doing their jobs and it could further build up as their story. After all, romantic relationships often progress slowly in the series.

As for what else is coming in Blue Bloods season 11 episode 11, Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) tries to take matters into his own hands in order to save the career of Sidney Gormley (Robert Clohessy). The latter struggled with trauma and loss, but it seems like his job is now in jeopardy.

The officer is being accused of using excessive force when complaints against him, which was made decades ago, become known to the public. It's yet to be seen whether or not these claims were true, though it's clear that Frank is willing to help Gormley get out of the situation.

But, if the complaints turned out to be true, Gormley will have to face the consequences of his past actions. He has never been punished and this could mean trouble not only for him but for Frank, as well. The public may question them and the entire department.

Elsewhere, Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) and his wife Eddie (Vanessa Ray) attempt to settle a dispute with a local who likes fighting cops, while Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) feels pressured in letting a good Samaritan off the hook for a violent act of vigilantism.

Blue Bloods season 11 episode 11 is titled "Guardian Angels" and it will air on Friday, April 9, on CBS.
