Netflix unveiled the new stills of the upcoming The Kissing Booth 3. The romantic-comedy movie is based on Beth Reekles' novels of the same name and debuted on the streaming platform in 2018. The second film was released in 2020 and it leaves more stories to tell in the third outing.

The Kissing Booth 3 picks up where the second movie left off, where it follows Elle (Joey King) and Noah (Jacob Elordi) as they try to make their long-distance relationship work out. The couple remains committed to each other, but they faced a lot of misunderstanding, including the arrival of Marco (Taylor Zakhar Perez)

Elle's friendship with Lee, Noah's brother, was also tested in the second movie as the latter's girlfriend, Rachel (Meganne Young), isn't fond of his friendship with the former. The good thing is that the film ended with everyone sorting things out.

Now, The Kissing Booth 3 is bringing new problems for Elle. She's about to face another complication in her relationship with Noah and her friendship with Lee. She has to decide on whether going to Harvard with her boyfriend or keeping her promise with her best friend of going to UC Berkeley together.

Recently, Netflix dropped photos of the upcoming third installment of the movie. The first promotional stills, in particular, featured Elle, Noah, Lee, and Rachel. At first, the four were seemingly having a great time while enjoying the summer break.

Since the latest film was set primarily during the summer, all the main characters will spend more time together. Hence, Noah will have more appearance, given that he's separated from the group through the previous outing since he's studying at Harvard.

Noah and Elle didn't spend a lot of time together in the second movie, with the latter's visit to her boyfriend's university brought more conflicts for the two. And, while they were able to settle things between them, new problems will arise in The Kissing Booth 3.

The major conflict might be all about Elle choosing her college school, plus a few more misunderstandings with her relationship and friendship. This is going to be the final installment of the franchise, so the theme might be slightly different from the first two movies.

In addition to the aforementioned cast members, the third movie also stars Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Chloe, Stephen Jennings as Mike, Molly Ringwald as Mrs. Flynn, Morne Visser as Mr. Flynn, and Carson White as Brad.

The Kissing Booth 3 hits Netflix this coming August 11, 2021.
