Rick and Morty Season 5 will soon drop and what's the better way to hype the series but to unveil another trailer. Adult Swim releases a hundred-second trailer, showing Rick, Morty, and the rest of the gang ready for another epic adventure.

Fans are now looking forward to seeing Rick and Morty Season 5 after confirming its big return. Surprisingly, it only takes a year of waiting to see the favorite animated duo back on the small screen after Season 4's ending.

The second official trailer begins where the first preview left off. It gives a much deeper look at the new season's events, from pop culture teases to its other famous inspirations.

Aside from the new trailer, according to Comicbook, Adult Swim also drops a special Season 4 marathon to give fans a chance to see what leads up to the events of the upcoming installment. It also features the short called Rick and Morty in the Eternal Nightmare Machine, inspired by a killer video game.

It features the hilarious pair of Rick and Morty in a mix of familiar and never-before-seen events. It shows a world made with 8-bit animation with a theme true to the series' fashion.

The short also comes with a lot of Easter eggs that fans may try to solve one by one. Just like what Bleeding Cool noted, artist/animator Paul Robertson has effortlessly blown everyone's mind with this feature.

So, what will happen in Rick and Morty Season 5? The previews show a lot of intense turn of events that fans have to wait every week.

The first one shows a dying Rick, leaving everyone's fate on Morty's hand, especially dating Jessica. However, things are about to turn for the worse as Morty will end up facing Rick's "unknown" archenemy, Mr. Nimbus.

A lot is also said about Space Beth, making everyone puzzled about who the real Beth is. Co-creator Dan Harmon explained she is "Schrodinger's Beth right now," and the important thing is whether she is a clone or not and what it has to do with Rick's parenting behavior.

Fortunately, the wait will be soon over after Harmon said in a 2019 interview, per Inverse, that the delay between Seasons 4 and 5 will not be long this time. His fellow co-creator Justin Roiland added the new season's production had started "rolling into the next batch," which meant it already began before Season 4 aired.

So, in no time, fans are about to see Rick and Morty Season 5 when it drops on June 20, at 11 p.m. Eastern Time on Adult Swim. Fans will continuously see the show on its late-night Sunday schedule.
