Chicago Med season 6 episode 14 is set to arrive next week on NBC, with the title "A Red Pill, a Blue Pill." Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) remains to be the major focus as she continues doing whatever is necessary to help her mother. But, by doing so, she tends to make actions that put her career on the line.
Natalie understands how the rules in the hospital work. She was there when Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlguss) broke some of them and even came down on him. But now, she is also stepping beyond the line for a very personal reason. She'll continue to find ways just to save her mother in Chicago Med season 6 episode 14.
Natalie knows that her actions could jeopardize her entire career, but she is willing to risk whatever she has right now just to see her mother gets better. However, most people will start to question her, especially since she is someone who does not break the law.
According to the synopsis of Chicago Med season 6 episode 14, the health of Natalie's mother takes another decline. Because of this, the doctor tries to find ways on how to cover up her recent actions, particularly in breaking some rules in order to treat her.
In episode 13, titled "What A Tangled Web We Weave," Natalie was emotional as she tries to figure out how to save her mother, who's suffering a serious heart condition. She followed Dr. Crockett Marcel's (Dominic Rains) advice, which is undergoing surgery.
However, it was too late for her mother to receive the trial medications, which Halstead suggests to prolong her life. This prompted Natalie to steal a bottle of med used for the trial, and her action comes with dire consequences not only for her -- but for her mother, as well.
As for what else viewers can expect in Chicago Med season 6 episode 14, Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) carefully keeps an eye on the third-year med students as they start their rotation in the ED, and one of them particularly caught her attention.
Meanwhile, there is no need to worry about the future of the medical drama as NBC confirmed that season 7 is happening. Thus, viewers can expect more interesting medical cases coming down the road, as well as personal storylines for the doctors and nurses.
