June Dorie (Jenna Elfman) is going to be the major focus in the upcoming Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 13. This weekend's episode is titled "J.D.", and it will follow the character going on a journey of her own. Along the way, she'll meet the father of her late husband, John Dorie (Garret Dillahunt).
In Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 13, June splits off from the rest of the group to find information on how to stop an oncoming threat. One of the reasons why she likely wants to go on her own is because she has been through a lot as of late.
She lost John Dorie, but instead of grieving, she decided to move forward with her life. Now, she might serve as a big help to the Survivors since there is a new threat looming around the corner -- which is more dangerous than Virginia (Colby Minifie) and the Pioneers.
Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 13 will follow June's journey searching for other ways to save everyone. She's been a huge help to the group, serving as their healer. But, this time, her role is to find intelligence to ensure the safety of all.
In addition to her journey, June also meets John's father in Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 13. After breaking into an old RV, she found evidence of decades-old crimes. She also saw "the end is the beginning" graffiti, the same message preached by the cult leader, Teddy (John Glover).
According to Elfman, "J.D." is a "big episode of change" and will "show the evolution of where June is now." Yet, her world turns upside down when she suddenly runs into someone -- who happens to be her father-in-law, Mr. Dorie (Keith Carradine), a reclusive ex-policeman.
Back in episode 4, titled "The Key," John mentioned to Rabbi Jacob (Peter Jacobson) that a certain case ruined his father's career, as well as his life. This is the case June saw in the RV, which involves female victims of a Houston area serial killer.
At the time, John revealed that his father found a purse that belonged to one of the missing women. He tried to catch the criminal off the street and even broke the rules. However, it ended up costing his career and marriage -- and never saw his son again.
Fear the Walking Dead season 6 episode 13 airs on Sunday, May 16, on AMC.
