Attack on Titan may have come to a close, but fans who can't move on from its ending want to see a different end of Eren and Mikasa's story. It looks like Hajime Isayama hears their cries and will drop additional pages in the upcoming final chapter reprint.

Isayama eyes to clear things up as some fans seem not to understand his real message in the Attack on Titan manga finale. However, it looks like something different is about to happen after known leaker Zakken reveals what these extra pages may contain.

In a post on Twitter, as shared by Comicbook, the additional eight pages will, allegedly, focus on Mikasa, but not in the way fans expect. Rumors have it the manga's final chapter will be altered to feature a more mature Mikasa with a family of her own--complete with a husband and kids.

This seems to confirm that Mikasa will be able to move on from his love for Eren. This is also the same thing that Armin wants his friend to do.

Armin told Eren while in the Eldian Paths that Mikasa should be able to forget Eren and be happy. He hoped she would find somebody new and just forget everything that happened to her.

Eren seems to be not keen on Mikasa moving on, proving that he indeed loves her despite his moves. As everyone expects them to be together in the end, it is far from happening knowing how he turns to be the series' main antagonist.

However, fans should only take this assumption with a grain of salt, as no one really knows what Isama will include in Attack on Titan's final chapter reprint but him.

As expected, fans have strong reactions to this assumption, making Isyama trend on social media, Epic Stream noted. If this happens, the manga will take a complete 360-degree turn from its original ending, which may also change Eren's fate.

The final chapter will have a reprint after Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, which held the manga's original ending, was quickly sold out. The publication's May issue was out on April 9, and it was already out of stock in less than one week, per Omnitos.

The manga's editor then announced a second printing as its original copy was depleted in every store. Alternatively, its 34th volume will start shipping on June 9.
