Fans started to celebrate the news that EXO is about to drop its upcoming special album, titled Don't Fight the Feeling, after one and a half years of hiatus. But as SM Entertainment seems to make a major change about its six covers, it quickly irate the group's followers.

It was first announced that Don't Fight the Feeling will have six covers, but it is now reduced to only one. Now, EXO fans are airing their sentiments on social media, blaming SM Entertainment for the sudden change.

According to Koreaboo, when the group posted the first details about their new album, they said it would come with two different photobook versions. The first version would have six different covers that fans could have.

However, before the pre-order day even began, the K-pop album supplier KTown4u made a tweet, saying there would only be one cover available due to some manufacturer issues. As expected, the expecting fans were annoyed by the announcement.

One fan pointed out SM Entertainment's past decisions about EXO's previous albums. The company first said it would not produce more Obsession albums after the first pre-order.

Now, it ordered for not manufacturing more covers for the boys' new album, accusing the music label of trying to pull the band down. Fans also made the hashtag #EXO_DESERVED_RESPECT trended on Twitter, claiming the company once again failed the group.

EXO is set to make a comeback in June after a lengthy break, NME noted. They excitedly announced the coming of their new album on their social media accounts on Tuesday, May 11, launching their new official logo.

The emblem looks like a radar map with the words "Designation: EXO Planet" and "Location: Outer Orbit." Suho, Xiumin, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun first teased their return in April after dropping a spoiler video called L-1485 Spoiler.

In the clip, D.O., Xiumin, Baekhyun, Kai, Sehun and Chanyeol show an aircraft-inspired set for the new music video they are filming. They also give a glimpse of their new dance moves while their latest song is playing in the background.

Don't Fight the Feeling will be EXO's first album after 2019's Obsession. It is a special album, in line with the seasonal releases they have done in the past, per South China Morning Post.

It will be out on June 8, two months after the celebration of their ninth anniversary last April 8. The LP is said to be connected to their 2017 hit song, "Power," reviving its sci-fi storyline.
