Prince Charles extended his sincerest regrets to a woman in Northern Ireland who wanted to shake his hands but the Prince of Wales refused the request and politely said that he still can't greet people this way due to the COVID-19 threats.

The Prince of Wales was with his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, for a two-day royal visit to Northern Ireland. But the woman he turned down didn't take the rejection badly because she still happily answered Charles' questions about where she shops for food.

Charles and Camilla and the crowd at the Bangor Market in Northern Ireland were no longer wearing masks since the gathering was outdoor. However, the royal entourage still observed some protocols like social distancing. The future king was also still careful not to shake hands or touch the crowd. The royal couple has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Charles looked quite happy in this royal tour amid his son, Prince Harry's explosive interviews about his father's parenting. According to the Prince of Wales' ex-butler, Grant Harold, Charles and Harry used to have a fun and loving bond but because of Harry's recent revelations on how this royal life has impacted his mental health, Harold believes that the father and son might never repair their relationship.

The Duke of Sussex has been promoting his mental health series with Oprah Winfrey, where he also sat down to say that he wants to break the cycle of genetic pain and suffering in the royal family. He believes that his father was also a victim of this pain because of his relationship with his parents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

Royal author Tom Quinn also believes that the rift between the relationship of Charles and Harry has "widened considerably." So, they might become more challenged to bridge their issues, especially with Harry now choosing to live in the U.S.

While Charles and Harry have their troubles, the Princes of Wales' relationship with his older son and heir, Prince William, is more united than ever. The two future kings apparently see things on the same page when it comes to the future of the monarchy.

Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl said that Charles has been involving William in the major decisions that need to be made in the Firm because its outcome will impact the next generations of the British monarchy. Prince Charles and William are the second and third in line to the throne of Queen Elizabeth.
