Kelly Osbourne has opened up about her drug and alcohol addiction as a teen and her relapse after the pandemic.

Just as the 36-year-old star was about to celebrate four years of sobriety she almost had a setback after observing a couple enjoying glasses of Champagne.

Osbourne admitted she started drinking again. "It looked really nice and I was like, 'I can do that, too,' " she said on Red Table Talk, according to The Associated Press.

She had two glasses after that event but fell back into drinking "bottles" the next day. However, the TV personality said on Instagram she was "back on track."

Though Osbourne finds it hard to talk about her relapse, which she was never proud of, she promised fans she would always be honest with them about her recovery.

She said she would be doing updates on a podcast. Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne's daughter assured fans she was "sober today" and would be sober in the coming days.

Though it isn't easy, she knows she can make it "one day at a time." Talking about her addiction, Osbourne told hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter, Willow Smith and her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, where it all started.

Her drug dependence stemmed from prescription drugs after a tonsillectomy aged 13. Hense began a lifelong battle against opiate-based drug addiction.

The Fashion Police alum says it was everything she needed - giving her comfort after hearing voices in her head talking about her insecurities. 'You're fat, you're ugly, you're not good enough, no one likes you, you don't deserve this, people only like you because of who your parents are," she said. The voices disappeared after taking Vicodin.

Pinkett Smith said: "Vicodin will do that." From Vicodin, The Osbournes star went to Percocet and, eventually, heroin "because it was cheaper."
