The hype surrounding the upcoming anime "Record of Ragnarok" continues and even becomes more intense with the release of a new trailer.

Fans will soon see an epic battle between the gods and humans in "Record of Ragnarok" and the trailer hints at the degree of exceptional matches they will witness. From Poseidon to Zeus and more, the 13 battles to fight for humanity will surely be a must-see.

The franchise's official website has dropped a second PV for the series that can be seen on Warner Bros. Japan's YouTube channel. It gives viewers a good look at the first three battles they are about to witness out of the 13 fights the series is about to feature.

There is Thor versus Lu Bu's fight, Zeus versus Adam's face to face and Poseidon versus Sasaki Kojiro's battle. The gods seem to underestimate their opponents for being mere humans, but the latter will never lack out of determination to beat the deities, Epic Dope noted.

Aside from the battles, the trailer also unveils "Record of Ragnarok" official ending theme song, "Inevitable," by SymaG.

In addition, the site also announced there would be a special streaming event June 19 at 9 p.m. PST on the Warner Bros. Japan Anime YouTube channel. The international fans don't have to worry as it will feature English and Spanish subtitles so that everyone can understand, according to AniTrendz.

There will also be a promotional collaboration event happening at Shibuya Tsutaya from June 18 to Sept. 17. It will feature a life-size Adam statue, an in-store announcement featuring Adam (voiced by voice actor Soma Saito) and a miniexhibition.

"Record of Ragnarok" will begin with the intent to end 7 million years of human civilization.

"Every 1,000 years, all the gods of the world gather in heaven to attend the 'Conference of Mankind Survival,'" its official synopsis read, via Anime News Network. "All the Gods agree to bring an ultimate end to the mankind due to their past foolish acts, but before the final verdict is made, Brunhild, the eldest of the 13 Valkyrie sisters make an objection."

She wants to put humans under a test by holding a final battle between humanity and gods, also known as Ragnarok. All gods all over the world and the champions of the entire human history will face each other in an intense battle no one has witnessed yet.

The series of battles between heaven and earth in "Record of Ragnarok" begins June 17 on Netflix.
