Prince George is just like any English fan around the world during the UEFA 2020 Final at Wembley Stadium in London Sunday. The young prince cheered for their national team and even showed a meme-worthy reaction when the group scored, which is now going viral.

George was with his mom, Kate Middleton and dad, Prince William, who went twinning with his son - wearing the same formal outfit. England went against Italy in a final match and the two European teams gave their all for the gold.

According to TMZ, William was showing his kid the ins and outs of the game. The future king was seen crouching down at his son's level - explaining what was happening on the pitch below.

George was very attentive throughout the game. In fact, when England got the first score during the opening, he and his father celebrated together in a now-viral clip.

The prince instantly became a fan of the sport and he might have inherited it from his late great-grandfather, Prince Philip. Queen Elizabeth II's husband was a huge fan of English football.

So, some said Philip might have been reincarnated in George because of his excited reaction during the game.

Before the match started, William shared a video message on Instagram to wish the England team good luck, USA Today noted.

"To every member of the England team on and off the pitch, just want to wish you the very best of luck. What a team performance it's been," he said.

The Duke of Cambridge added every member of the group played an important part and the background team was also "truly essential." He even said he could not believe the game finally happened.

"You bring out the very best of England. The whole country is behind you. So bring it home," he added. As William credited this team for bringing out the very best of England, he said the country was all behind them, so they should bring the victory home.

Sadly, George and the rest of the England people's celebrations were only short-lived. Although Luke Shaw managed to get the early goal for the country, Italy caught up and tied the score before the regulation time ended.

Italy won over England in the penalty shoot-out. The sad look on the Cambridge's family's faces was pretty much telling - summing up the heartbreak the whole of England must have felt.

Anyhow, William showed the absolute leader in him and congratulated the winning team in a tweet.
