Boruto will undergo a big change in "Boruto" Episode 208. Aside from the Momoshiki transformation, he may also use his Byakugan to save his father, Naruto.
Boruto is now working with Team 7 to rescue Naruto from the hands of Boro. As the Kara Inner gets the best of them, Boruto and the group may finally bring him down in "Boruto" Episode 208.
The new episode preview shows the Momoshiki-possessed Boruto. He will be unleashing his full power as he fights against Boro - hinting at the use of Byakugan, Comicbook noted.
According to Comicbook, Boruto's power-up is both a blessing and a curse. It gives him more chakra that a member of the Otsutsuki is already overcoming his mind.
This ability proves to be a hindrance to his existence in the ninja world. Although Boruto is yet to show the power of the Byakugan, it may change when Momoshiki manifests itself in him.
In the clip Twitter user Axel Sensei 7 shows, Boruto unveils the power that runs through his veins when his Karma has been unleashed and Momoshiki has taken over his mind. Can this help them defeat Boro in "Boruto" Episode 208?
Meanwhile, in "Boruto" Episode 207, Boruto and Kawaki joined their Karma powers to save Naruto. Boro proved to be a strong foe-far deadlier and trickier than anyone they had faced before.
He possessed a dangerous body that surpassed that of a human being that the whole group of Team 7 could not wholly take him out. The previous episode also showed Naruto was still inside the coffin that Jigen put him in.
Sarada managed to blow and take Boro down temporarily - giving Boruto and Kawaki the chance to free Naruto but to no avail. They could not smash it open as it might hurt Naruto inside, so Boruto and Kawaki used and united their Karma to help them.
Thankfully, Naruto's chakra was still flowing in the prosthetic arm that Kawaki wore. This helped them confirm that the Hokage was fine inside the coffin, but they still could not break it open or even move it a bit as it might put Naruto's life in danger.
However, with the dimension Boruto and Kawaki had through their combined Karma, they knew they could use it to eventually set Naruto free. Add to that Momoshiki's manifestation; they might finally have the upper hand in the fight in the next installment.
"Boruto" Episode 208 will be released Sunday.
