All eyes are now on "Stranger Things" Season 4. The new season's production will soon end, and fans are now eager to know when it will finally drop.

It has been two years since fans have been waiting for the release of "Stranger Things" Season 4. Though viewers already know what happened to Hopper (David Harbour) after the previous season's major cliffhanger, everyone is still excited to see what will happen next.

Caleb McLaughlin told Complex that the new season would be way different from the first three installments. He even teased it had insane storylines.

Thinking of the scenes they had filmed so far, the now-19-year-old star revealed no one knew what was about to come. According to Us Weekly, the new season's filming will soon wrap up after almost two years.

Producer Shawn Levy told Entertainment Tonight that they took time filming the new season because of the Covid-19 pandemic. They had to follow health protocols that, although it kept them safe, had slowed them down.

Anyhow, Joe Keery, who plays the role of Steve Harrington, revealed "Stranger Things" Season 4 would be "worth the wait." The "Spree" star had finally completed his filming scenes.

Just like what McLaughlin said, Levy agreed the new season was the most ambitious, by far. It would also be the most epic, featuring a globe-spanning plot that they had ever done.

So, when will the fourth installment finally come? Collider noted that the new season's release remained under lock and key.

Netflix has been mum about the new season's release date mainly because of its unpredictable production. The filming was only starting for about a month when the pandemic started.

From here, the production was put to a stop for the majority of 2020. When the filming continued, it was at a much slower pace due to the new safety guidelines.

Anyhow, as the production will soon complete, Levy teased he is now working with the Duffer Brothers and directing the new season. Though they are not yet done filming, they will be over imminently.

He even hinted that a new teaser would come out at the release of his new movie, "Free Guy," on Aug. 13. So far, nobody knows when "Stranger Things" Season 4 will be out, though there are theories it may likely drop during Winter 2021/2022 or Spring 2022. Anyhow, the Duffer Brothers still have a lot of post-production stuff to do.
