Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Young-dae will be working together to lead the new tvN romantic comedy-drama "Shooting Star." The two will depict the ups and downs of working in the entertainment industry and defy everyone's thoughts about it.

"Shooting Star" will follow the story of the people who work on the front lines of the entertainment industry. If there are celebrities, producers, directors, and others, there are also those who "clean up all the mess."

According to AllKpop, Lee Sung-kyung will be playing the role of Oh Han-byul in the series. She is a public relations team leader at a celebrity management agency.

She promotes and responds to crises and communicates using her extraordinary abilities. Through her "hooking" skills, Han Byul manages to dominate the star care industry.

On the other hand, Kim Young-dae will take the role of Gong Tae-sung. He is one of today's most famous stars, best known for his angelic smile and good character.

However, these are only his image. Behind the camera, Young Dae is a competitive guy who gets frustrated easily.

Despite the difference in characters, these two will end up together, resulting in a romantic relationship that fans need to see in the upcoming drama "Shooting Star." They will try to work with one another as they continuously grow more mature in the process, Soompi noted.

"The drama will deliver fun and deep immersion to viewers by honestly capturing the stories of not only the stars," Studio Dragon chief producer So Jae Hyun said. It would also give light to the stories of the managers, PR teams, and reporters who also support the industry at the forefront.

Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Young-dae will, reportedly, start filming in September. Choi Young-woo will write the show, while director Lee Soo-hyun will direct the series.

Meanwhile, the show would try to unveil the works of the people behind the scenes by telling their stories. It would reveal that not everything in the entertainment world was made of glitz and glamour.

There are also blood, sweat and tears. They are the ones who work the hardest to make celebrities the most shining stars in the field.

In real life, Kim Young-dae is a famous actor, best known for the MBC high school drama, "Extraordinary You." His most recent projects are SBS's "The Penthouse: War in Life" and KBS2's "Cheat on Me If You Can."

Alternatively, Lee Sung-kyung is a model, actress and singer, famously known for "Cheese in the Trap" and "The Doctors." Her first titular characters are in "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo" and "Dr. Romantic 2."
