"The Road: The Tragedy of One" is now in its second half with only six episodes left to feature. As things are starting to heat up, the series has dropped the key questions the drama has to answer.

Who was behind the kidnapping and where is the actual corruption evidence? Baek Soo Hyun only needs the answer to these questions to finally solve the tragic incident that connects everyone's life in "The Road: The Tragedy of One."

According to Soompi, the show's production staff teased the truth behind these mysterious incidents would start to unravel in Episode 7 forward. There would be a "sense of catharsis" as Baek Soo Hyun would finally put the puzzle pieces together.

Baek Soo Hyun believes the criminals want to get their hands on the original evidence before him. The whistleblower Yoon Dong Pil, who also possessed the initial evidence, is already dead, so whose hands are now holding the key card?

Of course, fans also want to know who was behind the kidnapping incident. Everyone seems to be the suspect, from the Royal the Hill residents to everyone out there.

Lastly, as the Royal the Hill occupants seem to show an unusual behavior, fans are starting to doubt their roles in the mishap. They all have tangled secrets, from a secret child to an illicit affair to a kid being drugged.

Even Baek Soo Hyun has a dark secret that is yet to be revealed. Will the truth about his connection to his father-in-law, Seo Gi Tee, will be finally out in "The Road: The Tragedy of One?"

Meanwhile, talking about his role, Ji Jin-hee said he was instantly drawn to the tvN series after reading the script, Korea Times noted. Though he found the story complicated, he knew it could be great if they put it all together well.

The role of Baek Soo Hyun was relatively new to him, so he found it a big challenge. Despite his fears and worries, he was thankful to director Kim Noh-won for convincing and wanting to capture a "different side" of him.

"The Road: The Tragedy of One" is based on the Japanese crime novel of the same name by Rintaro Norizuki. It is a mystery thriller that tells the story of the famed journalist Baek Soo Hyun, who married an heiress and miniature artist, Seo Eun Soo.

However, he has been investigating the corruption inside his father-in-law's conglomerate and his political ties with the lawmakers. But when he is about to reveal the story, his son has been kidnapped, resulting in the revelation of a much bigger secret.

"The Road: The Tragedy of One" will air its seventh and eighth episodes on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 25 and 26, at 10:50 p.m. KST on tvN.
