Fans are now gearing up for the coming of "Demon Slayer" Season 2. But before viewers can dive into the much-awaited Entertainment District Arc, they will get to watch the prequel "Mugen Train" first.

"Mugen Train" is a recap of the franchise's first feature-length and successful movie, "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train." It will expand the film's story and show how it will be connected to the upcoming "Demon Slayer" Season 2.

Comicbook noted the prequel would be featuring seven episodes and six of it will be re-cut from the movie. So, the remaining may one be an original story that will reveal how Tanjiro and friends manage to hop aboard the terrifying train.

Sure, it will introduce new characters, but it may also further explore the roles fans have now loved from the first season. It may delve into the lives of the characters who are briefly introduced in the previous season, like the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui.

Tanjiro and his friends, too, may meet more demons in "Mugen Train." After the events of the movie take them on a new mission, they are now set to know more about the family of Rengoku.

In addition, the new anime will use the same animation the movie has, produced by the same studio, Ufotable. However, there may also be new animation techniques that fans are about to see that will further explore the Muge Train Arc.

Meanwhile, Polygon assured this new arc would be far different from what fans saw in the movies. It would try to bridge the gap between the first and second seasons by expanding the movie into more episodes.

From here, "Demon Slayer" Season 2 may begin and it will start with a very special one-hour episode. After almost two years of waiting, fans will finally see how the series adapts to the manga's Entertainment District Arc.

Here, they will finally meet the newest major demon in the show, Daki, who will try to give Tanjiro and the gang the hardest time. The anime's second season will be out on Dec. 5, though Funimation is yet to announce its official platform.

Alternative, "Mugen Train" will hit the small screens starting on Oct. 10. It will be available to stream on Funimation's website, Hulu and Crunchyroll.

By the looks of it, fans are about to know more of Tanjiro's adventure and upcoming fights against the demons in "Demon Slayer" Season 2 and "Mugen Train." So, are you ready for Tanjiro's new action?
