JTBC has now dropped a new teaser for its latest winter romance series, "Snowdrop," with BLACKPINK's Jisoo and Jung Hae-in. From an energetic singer, fans are about to see a different Jisoo in the series.

Jisoo shows her purest smile in the "Snowdrop" trailer. Here, she reveals she has finally experienced "love at first sight" as she sees Jung Hae-in, who plays the role of Su Ho.

The 26-year-old star old portrays as Young Ro, a girl in love who has recorded her "heart-fluttering" words on an old-fashioned cassette tape. She wonders what "falling in love at first sight" feels like as she hides under a blanket.

However, the moment she sees Su Ho, she knows right away what love at first sight really means. Though their hands only brushed for a brief moment, her heart started to pound in her chest.

"Could this be what they call first love?" she asks. She hopes her message of love will be heard by her first love someday.

However, when Su Ho finally hears it, his response is somewhat like "fear and confusion," AllKpop noted. Sadly, he is not flattered by Young Ro's love and even starts to tear up as he asks, "We?"

The teaser, then, ends with an intense turn of events. It keeps fans hanging as it raises anticipation for the big tragedy that is about to come.

Meanwhile, famed director and writer Jo Hyun-tak, who is behind the success of another JTBC series, "Sky Castle," will helm "Snowdrop," per Soompi. The show is set in 1987 Seoul, telling the love story between Su Ho, a university student who will rush to the women's dorm covered in blood, and Young Ro, a fellow student who will help tend his wounds.

Young Ro will hide Su Ho, not minding the danger that comes ahead. Though she will be under surveillance, she will do everything so that no one can know her secret.

In addition, talking about his stint on the show, Jung Hae-in said he chose to do this project because of its good writing, story and trust in Jo Hyun-tak. Alternatively, Jisoo revealed she was able to focus on doing her role as all the staff treated her for being Young Ro and not because she was Jisoo from BLACKPINK.

In no time, fans are about to see Jung Hae-in and Jisoo as on-screen lovers on "Snowdrop." The show will premiere on Dec. 18 at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC.
