A lot is about to happen in "Boruto" Episode 228 that involves Kawaki and Sarada. Kawaki is on his way to becoming a ninja, while Sarada is now a captain.
These two will prove what they got in "Boruto" Episode 228 with the new conflicts coming. Can Kawaki stand to be the next shinobi?
Aside from Sarada, Wasabi, Denki and Houki are now officially the captains of their respective teams. However, some believe only Houki deserves the title, knowing others only become one because their other team members cannot fight, Epic Dope noted.
So, will this help to face the enemies in their next missions? Elsewhere, Naruto and Shikamaru will test Kawaki's ability to become a ninja.
They will prepare a special exam to see what he can do. In the new episode promo, Kawaki meets Naruto and Shikamaru and tells them about him becoming a genin.
However, he still needs to become a part of a team and complete a D-Rank mission, IBTimes cited. So, Naruto and Shikamaru ask Kawaki if he wants to try it in "Boruto" Episode 228.
But knowing this kid does whatever he wants, he may give his team members a hard time doing their new missions. Later, in the second half of the trailer, he is seen doing a new task that makes him think that becoming a ninja is not an easy feat.
Meanwhile, in "Boruto" Episode 227, Shikadai told everyone they would celebrate with Konohamaru when he returned. Later, Sarada talked to her mom and when she was about to sleep, Sasuke followed and told her Konohamaru would leave the group, per OtakuKart News.
He, then, dared her to show everything she had learned from Konohamaru. In addition, Boruto found Mirai down and brought him to the hospital.
He was poisoned and his mother had now treated him. Sai revealed Mirai was the only one who returned, making everyone wonder where Konohamaru was.
It was later revealed that Mr. Hyogo's underlings punished Konohamaru. His captor could not believe that the team leader let himself be captured despite that.
He never said a thing about his group or mission, making his detainers think that Leaf Jonin was not a big shot. Konohamaru warned Hyogo not to underestimate the Shinobi of the Leaf.
From here, Team 7 received a new mission to save Konohamaru. Boruto used a Sexy Jutsu to be closer to Hyogo.
Then, the group faced Hyogo's men and had successfully freed Konohamaru. What happens from here can be seen when "Boruto" Episode 228 drops on Sunday, Dec. 12.
