Fans will be up to a short waiting game before seeing "Demon Slayer" Season 2 Episode 12, titled "Things Are Gonna Get Real Flashy." The network has pushed back the new episode's release time a little to give way to a special programming.
The franchise's official Twitter account reveals the delay of "Demon Slayer" Season 2 Episode 12. But to make it up with the viewers, the post comes with a key visual that teases what will happen next.
Though the new episode is still set to be out on its original schedule, it will be 15 minutes late. Epic Stream noted fans are about to see it at 11:30 p.m. this time from the usual 11:15 p.m.
Why is that so? FujiTV has pushed back the series' air time due to a special event that the network will cover. Anyhow, it promises it will only be a little delay and fans will soon see what will happen to Tanjiro and the rest of his fellow Demon Slayers.
In "Demon Slayer" Season 2 Episode 12, Tanjiro and the Upper Rank 6 demon Daki's fight will be in full swing after they have faced each other in the previous installment. In fact, the new episode's visual has teased it will be an epic battle.
The image features a close-up look at Tanjiro's sweaty face, hinting at an all-out brawl. After everything that had happened in Episode 11, fans coud expect to see that a lot was about to happen here.
In "Demon Slayer" Season 2 Episode 11, Tanjiro faced Daki trying to hide in her obi. The Upper Rank 6 Demon threw the boy out of the room, making Daki impressed by how he survived the attack.
Daki started to hit him, so Tanjiro made a move and sliced off the obi's part where the demon hid Koinatsu. Tanjiro managed to stun Daki, though the latter still wanted to kill him.
The episode, then, ended with Tanjiro showing his fighting stance and it looked like he was eager to continue the big fight in the next episode. However, it remains to be seen if Tanjiro will manage to face Daki alone without the help of his companions.
Tanjiro may not get the help of anyone in an instant, but the new episode's title seems to hint at how flashy his fight against Daki will be. "Demon Slayer" Season 2 Episode 12 will be out on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022.
