One of the most anticipated anime series releasing this year is Tatsuki Fujimoto's "Chainsaw Man." Two years after its official announcement, the anime adaptation of Denji's story will finally see the light of the day.

MAPPA Studio will be taking the "Chainsaw Man" anime adaptation. With the promising work of the production company has shown as of late, like handling the final season of "Attack on Titan," what the new anime has in store for fans? Here is everything you need to know.

The series follows the tale of Denji, a young man who has to pay the debt left by his late father, Epic Stream noted. With no money on hand, he does everything he can-even if it means he has to become a devil hunter himself.

With the help of his loyal devil dog Pochita, the two go on different adventures together. However, Pochita died after doing a job that turns for the worse, but it was not the end for the canine.

He contacts his human and offers his new heart to be his, making Denji a human-devil hybrid. From here, Chainsaw Man is born and he is about to conquer the supernatural world of this character.

Meanwhile, MAPPA has been hyping the series' release by dropping two official trailers last year. Though this makes the wait more painful, it cannot be denied that it excites fans more.

By the looks of it, "Chainsaw Man" anime can effortlessly take the anime community by storm with the way fans react, per Kotaku. The second trailer was released during the annual Jump Festa anime and manga expo in Japan in December 2021 and it featured the manga's most memorable panels, hinting at the scenes that would be adapted.

The "trippy glitch effects" are paired with intense music, making every scene more intense. However, though the teaser does not give anything away, it carries more energy and positive vibes that make fans clamor for more.

It also gives a good look at the mesmerizing eyes of Makima. She is in front of the projected image of Denji, who is facing some enemies at the time.

To make the scene more enigmatic, Makima gives the sweetest smile before she walks away and disappears into the darkness. This scene just shows how Makima will make her way to the anime series and the long wait will be soon over as "Chainsaw Man" will finally hit the small screen this year.
