Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello made an outing with their dog in Miami earlier this month. Witnesses spotted the two artists walking Tarzan, with the "Treat You Better" holding the leash.

Following the stroll, Us Weekly deemed the former couple "friendly exes" in its January 24 issue. As noted, they made their joint appearance with their Golden Retriever two months after ending their relationship.

Photos of the walk in a park first emerged on MailOnline. The "Havana" singer donned a short tan dress, while her ex-boyfriend wore a casual ensemble.

Capital FM echoed the reports, saying that Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes are still "on friendly terms." However, it posed the question as to whether they are back together.

No one knows if something is going on between the two artists apart from their friendship these past few weeks. They have yet to make a comment regarding their outing or about the true nature of their relationship.

Sources previously claimed, though, that Mendes and Cabello were "in different places in their lives." This is reportedly why they ended the romantic ties between them in November.

The "Señorita" singers announced their break-up in a joint statement through Instagram. They shared with their fans and followers that they decided to end their relationship but, left the details under the wrap.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello pointed out, however, that their "love for one another is stronger than ever." The two artists, also, assured that they would "continue to be best friends," considering that they started as one.

Apart from the Miami stroll on January 6, their recent engagement on social media caught the attention of many netizens, as well. As it happened, the former Fifth Harmony member left a comment on her ex's post earlier this week, saying he is a "crazy wildcat."

Elle described it as a "telling comment" after reports suspected a possible reference to "High School Musical." Some speculated that it could mean Mendes is the Troy to Cabello's Gabriella.

Whatever the case, though, no one can explain as to what the singer meant when she left it in the comment section. Nevertheless, it proves that the former couple are, indeed, on good terms.

Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendes first met when Fifth Harmony was on tour, opening for Austin Mahone, in 2014. A year later, the two artists collaborated for "I Know What You Did Last Summer," which helped Cabello transition out of her group, according to Seventeen.

In 2017, they started "getting very flirty" on social media after Mendes made his support known for Cabello upon the release of "Crying In The Club." But, it was only in 2019 when they appeared to start their romantic relationship.
