Jay Park confirmed he is not going anywhere after stepping down as the CEO of AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC and even planning to give fans a huge surprise. Fans started to worry that the rapper would be retiring soon after leaving his seat in the two labels, but he will be dropping new albums.

Fans started to worry that Jay Park would be retiring after making an announcement and a tweet that asked fans to miss him if he ever "retired or disappeared." Thankfully, the 34-year-old star had finally cleared the air.

In a tweet on Monday, Jan. 24, via AllKpop, the singer-songwriter assured fans he would stay in business. He also replied to his followers, who were all worried that he would be out of the spotlight.

He tried his best to ease their curious minds about his alleged retirement. "Not retiring yet," he said.

Jay revealed he had made about 80 feats in the last two years but only dropped seven songs under his name. With that being said, he knew he owes his fans, and even himself, at least one or two more albums.

After he put his own career on hold to work for other people, the entrepreneur teased 2020 would be a crazy year. By the looks of it, fans will once again hear new music from Jay himself.

To recall, before 2021 ended, the "Mommae" hitmaker made a surprising announcement that he would be stepping down as AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC CEO, per Soompi. In a post on Instagram on Dec. 31, he said in both Korean and English that after having many thoughts and organizing his emotions, he decided to quit his seat in the said two music labels.

He knew it was surprising news to fans, but he cleared that he would remain its advisor. He, too, promised to continue to be its family and crew.

Jay thanked his fans who had supported and trusted him all the way. He, then, asked for their continuous support to AOMG, H1GHR MUSIC, and all the things he planned to do.

Jay also sent his heartfelt gratitude to the artists and employees and thanked them for entrusting their future to the labels he had founded. He continued that it was an honor to build their futures together and continue to make history with one another.

Jay founded AOMG in 2013 and H1GHR MUSIC in 2017 with Cha Cha Mamone. He had served as the two companies' CEO since their respective establishments.
