"Kingdom" Season 4 is coming and the franchise is now hyping the series by dropping its latest character designs. Though the COVID-19 pandemic and a typhoon that hit the Japanese shores last year have affected the new season's release, there is nothing that can stop the return of Xin and the rest of the generals.
Though the series does not make it big in the West, it cannot be denied that many are still waiting for the release of "Kingdom" Season 4. It drops three new visuals to tease what is to come to make the awaiting fans more excited.
The series' official Twitter account gave a glimpse of the characters old and new to give fans an idea of what they are about to see in the new season, Comicbook noted. It even promised to release new character designs periodically this week, so fans have to wait for it.
The coming of "Kingdom" Season 4 has been officially announced after completing the third season's 26 episodes. Its official website and Twitter page shared a new key visual back then to tell the new season's coming.
The post featured the next season's antagonist, Sei Kyou (Cheng Jiao), with the tagline, "I'm Next." Now, fans already know who they are going to hate next.
Cheng Jiao has a fearless smile that many may love to hate. The post also hints at the level of action and military drama viewers are about to see.
"There are signs of new upheaval in Qin," the tweet also reads. "[Does it have] overcome the crisis of national survival ...?"
The tweet also officially announced when "Kingdom" Season 4 would be out and hinted to feature the biggest battle in history, the Joint Army Edition.
"Kingdom" is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara. It takes fans back to the Feudal Era days and follows the story of Shin and Hyou, the war orphans in the kingdom of Qin, per Techradar24/7.
These two want to prove themselves on the battlefield until the minister captures Hyou. Though he manages to escape and return to the village, he is already badly injured.
Shin, alternatively, meets a mysterious man who oddly looks like Hyou. Little did he know that this boy will one day become emperor.
"Kingdom" Season 4 is set to be out this year, though its official release date is yet to be announced. So fans still have to wait for further announcement.
