Asta is the only one who can put Lucifero down. But with his severe condition, others have to step up to protect Asta and fight the enemy in "Black Clover" Chapter 231.
Sure, the Black Bulls are great fighters, but Yuno and Noelle are seen as the most formidable knights to face Lucifero, Recent Highlights noted. They have been showing the best moves during their own fights so that they can prove themselves more against the underworld leader this time.
Aside from fighting off the devil, there is a dire need for them to protect Asta. He is their only hope to win this battle.
No one from the other captains has anti-magic. So, they can't do anything to beat Lucifero.

Asta fell unconscious. Lucifero was about to kill him off when the other captains entered the scene. However, without even breaking a sweat, Lucifero decimated the captains in one go.
This showed that they did not have enough strength or power to match the villain's power. They couldn't fight any longer. But with Asta's shape, they had to do something.
Lucifero noticed the captains couldn't stand within his gravity. So, he stomped on Asta again, calling him the "root cause of everything."
Thankfully, Yuno suddenly appeared with Sylph and Mimosa. They whisked Asta out of Lucifero's hold.
