Grimes has nothing but good words for BLACKPINK's Jennie after the latter makes a surprise appearance in the music video for the Canadian singer's new song "Shinigami Eyes." Once again, the Human Chanel has conquered the music scene, making her presence felt even in an international country.

The track in question will be part of Grime's new EP called "Faires Cum First," a pre-release to her upcoming album "Book 1." The music video features different fantastical elements and the appearance of BLACKPINK's Jennie.

Fans didn't expect to see the K-pop idol in the clip, so they were all shocked when she suddenly appeared, AllKpop noted. Though it was only for a brief moment, she definitely stood out with her dominating presence.

As soon as fans saw the "Solo" hitmaker, they couldn't help but get excited. In a series of comments, they said it was a collaboration that no one expected.

Some couldn't even believe that Jennie was part of the music video, calling her an "icon." Others said she and Grimes were an iconic duo and they loved the clip's psychedelic effects and visuals.

Meanwhile, in the music video, Elon Musk's ex-partner shows her lover is also her enemy. Though they share sweet embraces, the man later turns on her and shoots an arrow through her stomach.

Jennie, then, appears. She is beside Grims while they are on the top of a car, traveling to a different dimension. They, too, pose for snaps.

The 26-year-old K-pop artist dons a neon pink jacket, paired with matching pants and a mirror bra top. Later, Grimes ends the video by finishing off her lover in front of a live audience and sucks his soul out of his body.

After the 33-year-old singer-songwriter released the trailer for her music video, she praised Jennie for her "admirable work ethic" on Instagram. In the comment section, she told a fan that she had "never seen such a pure talent" like her on the set. When she did her business, everyone just cursed to see how good she was at performing.

Meanwhile, Grimes has yet to reveal the full details about her new album. However, she told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, via Billboard, that it could be a "double album."

She said she felt the need to make the record a double album and made a bunch of stuff one after another. She had a lot of sonic and conceptual ideas that needed to get done so that everything could make more sense.

So, would it include a collaboration song with BLACKPINK's Jennie? Grimes has yet to say so.
