Amid the criticisms and bashing Free Zia (Song Ji-ah) receives over her fake luxury items controversy, some netizens show their support to the "Single's Inferno" star. They notice how severely others criticize her despite the couple of public apologies she has made.

One netizen believed Free Zia is already overly criticized for her actions. Sure, she has done something wrong, resulting in a huge controversy, but the public's reaction is just too much.

AllKpop noted this netizen believed the people had cursed her enough in different social media platforms, from YouTube to Facebook to Instagram and more. The cybernaut wanted people to know that the reality star is also human and only became famous because of her vlogs and after joining the hit Netflix dating series.

After gaining incredible fame in a snap, she has started to receive malicious comments from thousands of people overnight and that is too much to handle. Personally, this netizen said it would hurt him if he heard he is being called names, like Lying Zia and Fake Zia. So he wanted her to be an example that wearing fake items is a serious issue.

This comes after Free Zia uploaded an official public apology video to address the controversy surrounding the counterfeit luxury items that she donned on "Single's Inferno."

The social media star used to wear high-end labels, like Chanel and Dior, on the show. However, netizens eventually noticed her apparels were fake after piecing evidence together, per Korea JoongAng Daily.

Free Zia admitted to using fake luxury items on her apology video, uploaded to YouTube on Monday, Jan. 24, Yahoo! News cited. She acknowledged it was her fault and said sorry for causing huge concern to so many people.

As a YouTuber herself, she knew she should have been more "careful and thoughtful." However, she had caused more damage to the brands' image and even disappointed her fans and the public alike.

Free Zia revealed she bought these counterfeit products because they found them pretty. She also received so much love from the people because of it.

With that being said, she continued to patronize fake luxury goods and "became more absorbed." Now, she had so much regret about what she did, seeing her past self as "so pathetic."

Free Zia said her love for her fans is real despite the hate. She extended her apology to her followers and family, who were also affected by the controversy.

So, she asked everyone to stop attacking her loved ones. Free Zia said she would turn her channel from public to private and take some time off to self-reflect.
