Jeon So Mi is one lucky few to receive BLACKPINK's Jennie's "Jentle Garden" package. So after enjoying the box's aesthetics, the Canadian-Dutch-Korean beauty finally decided to open it.
Jeon So Mi shared a clip of her unboxing Jennie's "Jentle Garden" on Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 23. Here, she showed how happy she was to receive the special gift from her labelmate.
In the caption, she admitted she just displayed the box first, finding it hard to open it due to the pretty packaging. However, the time finally came that she was ready to open it.
"Why can't I open my package nicely?" she asked herself. Thankfully, the BLACKPINK member herself shared a clip on how to open her gift box.
AllKpop noted "Jentle Garden" commemorates the launch of the new mobile game with the same name, a collaboration between Jennie herself and Gentle Monster. So aside from Jeon So Mi, other K-pop stars who are close to the Human Chanel, like Lim Soo Hyang, Song Min Ho, Kang Seung Yoon, Jung Ho Yeon, Shin Hyun Ji, Jessica and more, also received it.
Since her debut, Jennie has been known for her generosity and thoughtfulness. She has been giving gifts to people close to her heart, like her staff, family and friends.
Though it is just a simple gesture, her gift for Jeon So Mi means she cares for her, per Koreaboo. Hence, it means so much for the younger K-pop idol.
In an interview with W Korea, Jennie revealed her love of buying gifts for other people. Instead of receiving, she prefers to give presents.
So, how does she choose the gift she gives? She thinks about their preferences to ensure that it will be something they like.
Jennie also thinks about what will suit the receiver, like if it is something that they will use often or not. If a special day comes for that person who will receive the gift, she will hide it until that special day ends and surprise the receiver.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time Jeon So Mi and Jennie show their special bond. The two have constantly supported each other and fans may see more of them in the future.
So, is a collaboration between them is possible? Many, sure, hope so. It is also good to note that Jeon So Mi joined YG Entertainment's subsidiary, The Black Label, so she is not only friends with Jennie but with the whole BLACKPINK members.
