"Boruto" Chapter 68 will reveal the future of Boruto after the previous chapter's intense turn of events. So, will the much-loved protagonist become a villain this time or remain a hero?

Fans witnessed the battle between Boruto and Momoshiki and it looked like the latter saved the former. So, what will happen this time in "Boruto" Chapter 68?

It looks like the new chapter has a lot of things to answer. It may also center on the Code and his limiter, revealing if he can get it removed or not.

By the looks of it, Recent Highlights noted he might succeed this time. With that said, can Konoha make a trap for him?

Elsewhere, luck seems to be on Boruto's side. His death appears to have saved him.

It has been known that if Boruto dies, Momoshiki will be gone, too. However, to prevent this from happening, Momoshiki compromises and merges 18% of his Karma with Boruto.

This makes Boruto a pure Otsutsuki with Momoshiki inside him. Anyhow, he needs not fear turning into Momoshiki anymore as his sanity and will seem to remain.

But it cannot trick Code, though. He will remain his target as the villain is still eager to feed him to the 10 tails. So, fans are about to see how Code will do this in "Boruto" Chapter 68 by removing the limiter from himself.

Meanwhile, in "Boruto" Chapter 67, Momoshiki had no chance to incarnate, so he just healed Boruto's wounds back when Kawaki was busy fighting Code, per Anime News and Facts.

He said that although about 82% of the Karma was already extracted, he still had to use the remaining 18% to create a new tissue that was lost.

As this happened, it turned out he could never be resurrected anymore. Boruto felt glad that his resolution to die prevented Momoshiki's plan.

For him, that move was already a big win. However, Momoshiki warned Boruto.

Annoyed by his "cocky personality, he told him he should not get too excited as the data in the Karma, rewritten or not, originally started as Otsutsuki.

This just meant that he was already "purely completed" and it would only take a matter of time before Code finally realized it.

Boruto then told Momoshiki that he once said his blue eyes would eventually take everything from him. He, then, asked if it meant his death.

"Boruto" Chapter 68 will drop on Sunday, March 20.
