The giants of the K-pop and K-drama worlds, Park Bo Gum, BTS's V and BLACKPINK's Lisa, will join forces to grace Celine Men's Summer 2023 Fashion Show in Paris, France. The three will be flying to the City of Lights in style on Friday, June 24.
AllKpop noted that Park Bo Gum, V and Lisa will be going to Paris on a private jet. By the looks of it, they will be just some of the VIPs attending the event.
The news surely excites many fans, seeing the strong forces of the Korean entertainment industry altogether. In fact, V and Park Bo Gum's reunion is garnering much attention, knowing they have one of the closest friendships in the business.
Pinkvilla revealed they became close when the 29-year-old actor was still an active MC for KBS 2TV's "Music Bank." Since then, they have supported each other's projects, from new shows to music activities.
They also usually bond by visiting an amusement park, going on a trip to Jeju Island and watching a concert. With their incredible fashion and style, they have made a great impact on the fashion world.
Times of News added they're expected to attend the show on Sunday, June 26, at 9:30 CET and would be part of the Men's Paris Fashion Week finale for this year. They have been reportedly invited as guests on an invitation basis and may be sitting in the front row. This is not the first time the duo will grace a fashion event.
For starters, V is Louis Vuitton's brand ambassador and even previously walked the ramp for the brand. Though he may not do the same thing for the upcoming Paris fashion show, his appearance is already making a lot of people excited.
Alternatively, Lisa was named Celine's first official ambassador in September 2020. In an interview with Vogue in June 2021, she said the brand for her was "unrivaled.
She even praised Hedi Slimane, photographer and the creative, artistic and image director of Celine, for his "multifaceted talent," from his clothing design to photography. "He creates this rare, incredible, and desirable world through his vision," she said.
With that said, the BLACKPINK rapper revealed Slimane's work would always inspire her. So, she felt it was truly an honor and pleasure to work with him as Celine's first ambassador.
Since then, the French brand and Lisa have been building a good relationship, making her the favorite of the celebrated designer. It all started when the Thai idol went to Paris to watch the menswear show in June 2019.
