By the looks of it, Genos' revelations will be a must-see in "One Punch Man" Chapter 170. So, what will Dr. Kuseno do about it?
In "One Punch Man" Chapter 169, Genos gathered himself and stressed the core was his, but from another time, per Anime News and Facts. He asked Saitama if he could remember anything, thinking the core and him were both from the future.
Genos then discussed his belief about the possible parallel world or theoretical multiverse, believing the core came from a different timeline-a result of Saitama's actions. Though he had no idea how the divergence into other times happened, he was convinced that there was another Saitama who could time travel.
He believed Saitama could separate himself and merge once again at a point in time after the two worlds separated. Genos continued that the time the core had come from, Garou killed him.
This new discovery stunned Genos. If the parallel worlds did exist, Saitama's ability to transcend and manipulate the laws of the casualty was described as an "inescapable proof of his selfless, flawless heroism."
Genos tried to explain his theory to Saitama about his ability to travel through time, but the latter got so overwhelmed by all the details he heard. He couldn't follow everything the cyborg said or even understand the scientific explanations Genos was telling him.
Despite that, Genos was pleased that Saitama could transcend in time and space to save everyone. Saitama couldn't do anything but sigh as he walked away while holding Genos' damaged upper body, saddened by the remains of their destroyed apartment.
"One Punch Man" Chapter 170 may be out either on August 18 or August 25.
