"Black Clover" Chapter 334 spoilers are out and it confirms the theories about Sister Lily. Asta's love interest will transform into an angelic demon, thanks to Lucius, who has turned her into his ally.
The spoilers also reveal Lucius' magic is soul magic, though its exact nature is remained to be seen. It also alludes to his strongest character in the Yuki Tabata series, and fans may know more about his power in "Black Clover" Chapter 334.
SportsKeeda detailed the leaks by Twitter user @nite_baron. It begins with Lucius making his first offensive move against Asta.
He first turns Sister Lily into an angelic demon, followed by a slash across Asta's chest. Sadly, Asta's anti-magic abilities seem not to work on Lucius.
Hence, he has no means to fight back against the devil. However, Lucius' soul magic also doesn't work on Asta.
Their magics seem to be at "direct odds" with each other. This only means that they can't use their full abilities to fight one another.
Asta is no longer the strongest without his anti-magic and the same can be said of Lucius. So, who will be the final Wizard King?
Lucius seems to have the edge with his soul magic, time magic and other powers. Asta, alternatively, may be able to use his anti-magic somewhere down the road.
Lucius' twin soul, Julius, may help Asta make his anti-magic affect the devil. Though it's still hard to predict who will win this time, Lucius evidently has the upper hand.
Meanwhile, there are theories Lucius will trap Asta in the underworld, Otaku's Notes noted. So, for him to break the devil's kingdom, he has to surpass every devil there is, including Astaroth.
Asta has broken Lucius' time-binding spell in the previous chapter's last panel, making Mimosa, Noelle, Sister Lily and Nero free. So, they may join the fight and help Asta put Lucius down.
But this move may have nothing to do with defeating Lucius, knowing the only thing that can work on time magic is Asta's ant-magic and dark magic.
Lucius arrives with the intent to test Asta and to eliminate him; thus, he told him everything about him. However, the series is yet to unveil details about the Diamond Kingdom and The Land of Rising Sun, Hino Country.
So, the current arc will continue with Black Bulls' new journey, though with different objectives. "Black Clover" Chapter 334 will drop on Sunday, August 21.
