Apple has just released some new devices, such as new iPhone models, but it can be expected to release more in the future. What can some of these devices be? Here's a quick look at the possibilities.

The Cupertino tech giant recently released the iPhone 14 series of handsets which make use of the latest technology the company could give at the moment. It is also expected to unveil a slew of iPads and Macs, all featuring upgraded specs and features, in the coming weeks.

Apple is said to be working on some new devices, MacRumors noted. These haven't been revealed yet, which means they could arrive next year. These devices, the outlet said, include new Macs, a new VR/AR headset, a new HomePod, a more.

Here's a quick look at these devices.

A new MacBook Air

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reaffirmed that Apple could release a 15-inch MacBook Air next year. This new device will be bigger than the current 13-inch MacBook Air, but feature the same design. It will have the same display size as that of the 16-inch MacBook Pro, but come with a slimmer design.

A new iMac

Apple is also reportedly working on a new iMac powered by the M3 Apple silicon chip. Details about the device's other specs such as memory and display, as well as its overall design, remain unknown at the moment.

The Cupertino tech giant is also said to be working on a new iMac Pro, but details about this new device are also scarce at the moment. It could be the rumored M3-powered iMac, or be something else.

A new VR/AR Headset

Rumors of an Apple VR/AR headset have been moving around for years, but 2023 could be the year the rumors become true. The rumored headset, which Apple might call "Reality Pro," might be announced as early as January next year according to prominent analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

A new HomePod

Apple is reportedly working on a new full-sized HomePod, after it was discontinued in 2021. Gurman noted that the new home speaker will feature improved audio quality and will be powered by the Apple Watch's S8 chip. It will likely be just as big as the original HomePod.

Kuo noted that the new HomePod could be launched as early as the first quarter of 2023.

A new Mac Pro

Apple might also reveal a new Mac Pro next year, MacRumors noted. The new Mac Pro could feature Apple's own silicon inside instead of Intel processors. The new Mac Pro might be powered by the M2 Ultra chip, which has 20 cores; or the M2 "Extreme" which has 40 cores.

All of these devices haven't been confirmed at the moment. Readers are urged to stay tuned for more updates.
