King Charles III is reportedly watching every word Meghan Markle may say that may damage the royal family. Prince Harry's wife has been saying things about The Firm, and the newly reigned king may not let it slide this time.

Meghan Markle may no longer be an active working senior royal after she and Prince Harry stepped down in 2020. Still, royal expert Duncan Larcombe warns King Charles will be closely watching he and everything she will say about the royal family. It has been known the Sussexes have signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify, and there are fears that it may involve projects that will have something to do with their relationship with the royals.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, via Express, the British journalist claimed the monarch's modus operandi has always tried to ignore any written and said about him. However, when it comes to his daughter-in-law with his youngest son, he may be aware of her every interview and commercial stuff because he must.

Larcombe stressed that it's the royal family brand the former actress is talking about, so His Majesty will definitely be watching her. However, it may be nothing personal and may only be in a business sense.

"He won't want her to be saying things that could be damaging to the reputations of the royal family," he said. "In particular, things that, in his opinion, are utterly untrue and unfair."

That said, Marie Claire claimed both Prince Harry and Meghan Marke are "softening" their King Charles content in the former's upcoming memoir and the couple's Netflix docuseries. A source told OK! magazine that there could be consequences if the two didn't decide to take that move.

In fact, the insider added that the king has already warned the Duke of Sussex that if he "rats him out" in any way in his book, his whole family will be stripped of their titles. Not only that, he'll also be cut off from royal life for good.

The tipster continued that King Charles understands Prince Harry has the key to a "closet full of dark secrets," which may go deeper than calling him a bad father on TV. For years, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship with the royal family has gone toxic after they left the monarchy due to the alleged intense pressure and media scrutiny they claimed they had been experiencing.
