"Black Clover" Chapter 342's spoilers have dropped, and it details how Yami annihilates his clan as told by his sister, Ichika. As the younger Yami, which happens to be their surname, despises her brother so much, isn't it because of her that he killed their family?
Ichika has said a lot of things against her brother, calling him a liar and untrustworthy. However, Asta can't believe his ears, doubting every Ichika's word against Yami, thinking he may have a reason why he massacred their circle that may be revealed in "Black Clover" Chapter 342.
The spoilers reveal Yami and Ichika's father is an alcoholic who wants to hurt Ichika after his wife dies by giving birth to her. As an older brother, Yami will never allow his dad to lay his hands on his younger sister and hones his ability to use magic and a katana to defend her from him.
The spoilers also touch on the legend of Land of the Sun, a five-headed dragon that went on a rampage and was only pacified by a celestial maiden. Since then, it has always been the Yami clan's job to guard the area owned by the Ryudo family.
So, to prevent the dragon from attacking again, there are theories that they must sacrifice a virgin, which may be Ichika. Of course, Yami may have gone against it, killing his entire clan to save his sister, which may be revealed in "Black Clover" Chapter 342.
There are also claims that maybe Ichika murdered the entire Yami clan instead and had Yami to blame. It's also possible that Ryuya joined the fight to defend Ichika, seeing he used to have a complete set of eyes back then.
From there, the series may return to the present timeline and see Asta and Ichika's fight. The truth about Yami and their clan may finally be revealed at the end of their battle.
Meanwhile, "Black Clover" Chapter 341 saw the other three Ryuzen Seven members: Komari Imari, Daizaemon O'oka, and Jozo Hanegatsuji. They all trained Asta to use Zetten in different ways.
Asta learned there were several ways he could use Zetten and every Ryuzen Seven member used it differently, according to their characteristics. Sadly, he wasn't strong enough to win against them, losing in every fight, even if he was in his Devil Union form.
The three willingly take commands from Ryuya; in the end, Asta met Ichika. The two started to talk, and Asta began to reveal her age and past.
She also told him Ryuya's abilities, called Tengentsuu/Clairvoyance, to lead the country. He could see the present phenomenon with his right eye and saved Ichika in the past. Later, OIchika revealed Yami killed their entire clan.
