"Mob Psycho" Season 3 has already begun, and four episodes into it, it has officially introduced its newest main villain, the leader of the Psycho Helmet cult. Shigeo Kageyama, a.k.a. Mob, now knows the new enemy, so fans are about to see their favorite psychic in action again.
"Mob Psycho" Season 3 is said to be different from its predecessors. Mob has a lot to think of, from the path he's going to take to his thoughts about his overwhelming power, which just becomes much stronger than ever. With the new enemy coming, how will he deal with them all?
The previous episodes show how the gigantic broccoli Mob infused with power in the second season has since become a Divine Tree. The Psycho Helmet club has started worshipping it, but Shigeo has refused to join them.
However, someone has taken his place as head of the cult, and it's using the psychic brainwashing power of the giant broccoli, making it tougher and scarier. So, who's this villain?
Episode 4 reveals a new being who looks like Mob and poses as the Psycho Helmet cult leader. Mob later discovers that a lot of people he knows have become a member of this group, and they're being brainwashed.
Teruki Hanazawa has already discovered the villain's new plot, but he's too weak to take it down. As the fourth episode ends, Mob is ready to face the new villain as it starts taking control of the town.
The previous episode just hints at what will happen in "Mob Psycho" Season 3 Episode 5. Mob is ready to confront the new villain after seeing everyone he knows getting hypnotized and controlled by the Psycho Helmet cult leader.
Fans already know who this villain is after fighting and conversing with Hanazawa. Surely, Mob will break his every bone after posing as his imposter.
However, he may still be forgiving and just engage in an enlightening conversation. Whatever he does, fans will probably love to see it.
What sure is there will be a fight between these two, and it may be every inch spectacular, especially having Hanazawa around. The leader may use different intrusions, and Mob will know his identity from there.
"Mob Psycho" Season 3 started airing on October 5 on Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Japanese TV. It's expected to run for three months, while Episode 5 will be out on Wednesday, November 2.
