The prosecution wants to give music executive Yang Hyun Suk three years in prison for allegedly trying to cover up B.I's drug case and threatening the informant Han Seo Hee. The issue is already in its 14th and final trial.

Yang Hyun Suk and other's trial was held at the 23rd Criminal Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court on Monday, November 14. The prosecution claimed the former YG Entertainment CEO threatened the former trainee Han Seo Hee after tipping the police of B.I's drug use.

The prosecution pleaded to three-year imprisonment for the record producer and a two-year jail sentence for the 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Kim Han Bin, during the final statement.

The tribunal continued it was evident that he threatened Han Seo Hee by saying it "was nothing to take someone like you out." His move was called a criminal act and malicious; to make matters worse, he didn't have any remorse.

Yang Hyun Suk even allegedly told Han Seo Hee that he could see everything she said in the investigation. He also warned her when he said it was easy to kill someone like her in the entertainment world.

In addition, he allegedly offered her a reward and would provide her with a lawyer if she took her statement back to the police. However, 52-year-old denied the claims, stressing that most of the stories about him were false.

He claimed he just told her to be a good kid and that she shouldn't do drugs and pointed them out of worry. Yang Hyun Suk added that half of the time was spent "comforting and listening," and he never threatened her.

For starters, Yang Hyun Suk was charged with trying to cover up drug charges filed against B.I, which he had since denied. He then threatened Han Seo Hee to change her testimony as she was also involved in the case.

Alternatively, the court sentenced Han Seo Hee to six months in prison for violating the Narcotics Control Act on September 23. Judge Gu Ja Kwang also ordered 40 hours of a drug rehabilitation program and a fine of 100,000 KRW or $70.30.

The former talent was accused of administering methamphetamine, commonly known as Meth, with another person at an officetel in Jungnang-gu, Seoul, in July 2021. The other individual was also charged with administering methamphetamine.

However, eight days after the incident, her urine test results were negative, but the court found her guilty of the drug administration charges. This is the third time that Han Seo Hee has faced trial for drug use. Alternatively, Yang Hyun Suk's final sentence will be on December 22.
