After a two-week break, "Black Clover" Chapter 348 will finally be out, and fans are about to see the aftermath of Asta's training. After rescuing Ichika, he will try to save Sister Lily from Lucifer's manipulation.
Titled "Resolve," the new chapter will reveal what Asta has learned from Yosuga and Fujio. Though it remains to be seen if he can defeat a Paladin, his ability will be unveiled in "Black Clover" Chapter 348.

Sister Lily is surprised to see Asta alive and even more shocked that Lucius doesn't know about it. Yrul begins discussing things about the human heart, calling it weak while shaming the Ryuzen Seven after crumbling to face him despite being the strongest mages.
He then targets Asta, suggesting he also has fears and later revealing an illusion of himself in front of him. It shows his worries, like not being the next Wizard King and feeling he's not as talented as Yuno.
Yrul plans to take Asta down to get Lucius' approval, but Asta just accepts his fear and slashes the illusion with Zetten away in "Black Clover" Chapter 348. He says he has already cut his weakness within him.
Yrul begins to attack Asta, wanting to finish him with just a single attack. But Asta manages to cut him, thanks to his training that lets him see an opponent who's about to launch an attack.
Ichika watches how Asta cuts Yrul's powers off. Using Zetten, the user only needs to see when the opponent is about to attack.
Add to that Asta's anti-magic ability that can cancel an opponent's hit, it's surely a victory for Asta in "Black Clover" Chapter 348. Asta then eyes Paladin Lily, promising himself to save her.
Meanwhile, in "Black Clover" Chapter 347, Ichika believed Ryuzen could handle the battle alone, not needing Asta's help. But Sisterly Lily launched a combination of Ice and Spatial magic attack.
A Paladin with Beast magic spell unleashed an illusion spell that showed a person's worse fear. Kezokaku saw a gigantic frog, while Ichika saw her father.
The latter talked to Yami about rebuilding their clan when their dad talked about the medicine passed down for generations. The pill was meant to draw their demonic potential out, making them berserk.
Yami refused to take it, so their father gave it to Ichika. She then saw people trying to escape during the massacre, making her believe she was behind her own clan's destruction, not her brother.
Their father told Ichika, "as expected of my child." Thankfully, Asta appeared and saved her, just like how Yami protected her from the start.
"Black Clover" Chapter 347 will be out Sunday, January 22.
