Liden Films has dropped the official preview images and synopsis for "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 8, titled "Strive Together." Takemichi seemingly has no choice but to face Taiju in a one-on-one battle, but will he survive?

It can't be denied that Takemichi is no match for Taiju's strength, seeing how big and strong of an enemy the Second Generation Tokyo Manji Gang's Sixth Division Captain is. As Takemichi eyes to take over the Black Dragon from Taiju, can he do it in "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 8?

The new episode will continue where the previous chapter left off. Takemichi has declared his intention to defeat Taiju, leaving everyone in the church shocked by his decision. There's an overwhelming difference in strength between the two, and winning against the oldest Shiba is probably impossible.

Despite that, Takemichi is still determined to fight Taiju, not showing any signs of fear. From there, Hakkai may reveal the secret that Taiju kept using against him to have control over him.

As this secret looks quite controversial, Taiju has kept it to himself, benefitting from not letting it out. He uses it to have the upper hand over his siblings, but it may soon stop in "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 8.

In addition, the preview images see Mitsuya getting back up. He may help Takemichi fight the Black Dragon.

This just means Takemichi will get the help of his friends, along with Hakkai, to fight Taiju, Kokonoi, and Inui. But knowing Kokonoi and Inui are in the church to help Taiju, their gang members may also come, which will disadvantage Takemichi and his group. So, will Toman arrive to their rescue?

Meanwhile, "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 7 saw the continuation of the intense situation of Taiju wanting to kill his sister after stabbing him in the back. Takemichi believed it resulted from Kisaki's desire to gain control of Black Dragon and corrupt Toman.

His plan was to have Yuzuha kill Taiju to control Hakkai, as he would take the blame for it. After realizing this, Takemichi moved before Taiju could hurt his sister to stop their fight.

But Taiju beat Takemichi instead, and Yuzuha took advantage of it by moving forward with her knife. Mitsuya stopped Yuzuha and faced Taiju alone, but Inui joined the fight and hit Mitsuya with a rod.

When he woke up, Mitsuya swore to stop Taiju while Takemichi and Chifuya faced the other Black Dragon members. But Hakkai was too afraid to fight his brother, letting Mitsuya get beaten up.

Takemichi entered the scene and promised to stop Taiju and fight him alone. What happens from here can be seen when "Tokyo Revengers" Season 2 Episode 7 drops Sunday, February 26.
