Debi Mazar has shown unwavering support for her "beautiful" friend Madonna amidst ongoing online criticism of the pop icon's appearance. In a recent conversation with Page Six at the Miscast23 Gala, Mazar dismissed the negative remarks, stating, "I don't pay attention to any of it. I think Madonna is beautiful, and I don't pay attention to what people say about me or anybody."

Mazar emphasized that people should not be swayed by internet opinions. "Everyone [on the internet] has an opinion these days, and the only way to really survive, only the strong survive, is not to hear all the noise," she added.

Madonna herself responded to the backlash following her appearance at the Grammys in February. She addressed the ageism and misogyny she faces in a social media post, saying, "Once again, I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in. A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45 and feels the need to punish her if she continues to be strong-willed, hard-working, and adventurous."

The singer further stated that she has been subjected to media degradation since the beginning of her career but considers it a test that allows her to pave the way for future generations of women.

Mazar and Madonna have been friends since the 1980s when they met at New York's Danceteria. Mazar worked as a makeup artist for Madonna's "Everybody" music video. The actress fondly remembers the day Madonna signed with the late record executive Seymour Stein, describing him as a "real mensch" and a "true New York visionary."

Currently living in Italy with her family, the "Entourage" star married Italian cooking personality Gabriele Corcos in 2002. The couple has two daughters, Evelina, 20, and Giulia, 17, and together they have co-authored two cookbooks and hosted a cooking show.

Despite her love for Italy, Mazar admits to feeling homesick and missing New York City. She appreciates her life in both places and has found new work opportunities in Europe since relocating. "It's been a very interesting career move for me," she concluded.
