In the midst of a tumultuous family feud, King Charles III and Prince William have reportedly emerged with a stronger bond. This unity is said to have been forged in the face of perceived insults from family members, particularly Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
According to a recent report, the father-son duo has been deeply affected by the ongoing family disagreements. "They've been insulted by members of their own family," a source close to the royal family stated. "It's been quite the ordeal for them, and I think that they kind of circled the wagon, so to speak. And they've come out of that with a stronger bond."
The source also highlighted that William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have been "naturals" at living the royal lifestyle "from the very beginning," subtly contrasting Meghan's entrance into the royal family back in 2018.
The report further emphasized that Harry and Meghan's attempts to establish themselves in Hollywood and share their side of life behind palace walls have not gone as smoothly as planned. "Trying to carve out this new life for them in Hollywood, I suppose they expected the honeymoon to go on," the source speculated. "And as time passed, more and more of their allies and friends and admirers have just fallen away because they see this as a kind of a narcissistic romp through Montecito. ... They're not getting the kind of support now that they had when they arrived."
Harry and Meghan have been at odds with the royal family since they announced in 2020 that they would be stepping back from their senior royal duties to start a new life in California. The couple has since made headlines with their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, their Netflix docuseries, "Harry & Meghan," and Harry's memoir, "Spare."
In these platforms, the couple lodged several shocking allegations against The Firm, including claims that they failed to help Meghan when she was having suicidal thoughts while living behind palace walls and that William once knocked his younger brother down during a physical fight. Harry also claimed in his memoir that William called his wife "difficult and "rude" and that Charles refused his pleas to stop the British press from going after Meghan before their engagement.
Despite their efforts to establish a new life away from the royal family, Meghan and Harry have faced challenges. Meghan's podcast titled "Archetypes," was canceled by Spotify after just one season, with the streaming service deciding to cut ties with the couple altogether.
As the royal family continues to navigate these turbulent times, the strengthened bond between King Charles III and Prince William serves as a testament to their resilience and unity in the face of adversity.
