Despite swirling rumors of a potential split, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have recently presented a united front. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared together in a video shared on the Archewell Foundation's website on Wednesday, August 2, to announce the winners of $2 million in grants for responsible technology.

The royal couple, seated together in their California garden, donned matching beige outfits as they congratulated the grant recipients. Their laughter and ear-to-ear smiles during the video call seemed to dispel rumors of marital discord.

The video appearance comes amidst a challenging year for the couple. Their multi-million dollar podcast deal with Spotify fell through, and their Netflix documentary was snubbed by the Emmys. Despite these setbacks, Harry and Meghan appear to be weathering the storm together, presenting a united front in the face of adversity.

Royal expert Angela Levin recently suggested that Harry may be stepping back from the spotlight, a move that Meghan, accustomed to public life, is reportedly handling well. "There are rumors coming from Meghan's side that [Harry's] decided he doesn't want to be in the spotlight anymore. You won't see much of him. Meghan is used to it and she does very well, but Harry doesn't," Levin stated.

However, Levin also suggested that Meghan might not be ready to let go of the limelight just yet. "She's got enough of it now and she's had what she wants from him. She can go forward with her new PR and all the things that are going to be offered to her and love it, and Harry we will hardly see," the biographer said of the parents of two.

Despite the speculation, the couple's recent public appearance seems to contradict these claims. As they navigate their new life together in California, Harry and Meghan continue to focus on their shared philanthropic efforts, demonstrating that their partnership remains strong.
