Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, recently made headlines when she was spotted wearing a NuCalm anti-stress patch, leading to speculations that she might be promoting the wellness brand. This comes amidst rumors that she is considering restarting her lifestyle blog, "The Tig."

Last week, Meghan was seen in Montecito, accompanied by her bodyguard. Dressed in designer wear worth approximately $10,000, it was the blue disc on her left wrist that garnered significant attention. This patch was identified as the NuCalm Biosignal Processing Disc. According to NuCalm's official website, the disc is designed to "activate the parasympathetic nervous system," allowing users to rapidly return to a functional state without any lingering effects or mental lethargy.

While some speculated that Meghan might be using the patch due to stress, an anonymous source mentioned that its use "has nothing necessarily to do with stress." However, brand and culture expert Nick Ede commented on the strategic placement of the disc, suggesting it could be a move to build her lifestyle brand. He stated, "Meghan's strategic placement of a stress pack from a relatively new start-up company who reposted the image of her in their own social media is a clear message that she is looking to build her lifestyle brand and create a platform for her followers to benefit from her experiences and the products that help her."

Following the release of photos showcasing Meghan wearing the disc, NuCalm reposted her image on their Instagram Story, announcing a free trial of the product. The patch is priced at $80 for a 20-pack. This move by NuCalm led many to believe that Meghan might have staged the photos to endorse the wellness brand.

However, NuCalm has refuted any claims of a "business relationship" with Meghan. In a statement to Page Six, the company clarified that while the Duchess is a "loyal user of their technology," they have never sponsored or paid for any product endorsements. The company emphasized its longstanding reputation, having been in the market since 2009, and being used by over 56 professional sports teams and numerous celebrities.

Jim Poole, CEO of NuCalm maker Solace Lifesciences, described the disc as a tuning fork that uses "vibration frequency and resonance to deliver a calming signal to the brain." The patch does not release chemicals but sends frequencies and biosignals to the brain.

During the time Meghan was seen wearing the NuCalm Biosignal Processing Disc, Prince Harry was away in Japan and Singapore for work commitments. Meghan remained in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The Duchess's association with wellness brands and her potential return to the blogging world remains a topic of interest and speculation among royal watchers and fans.
