BTS member Jimin has written a new chapter in iTunes history with his song "Filter." As of October 15th, "Filter" clinched the top spot in the German iTunes top song chart, marking its No. 1 position in a total of 118 countries and regions worldwide.

"Filter" is a solo track from BTS's fourth regular album. With this accomplishment, Jimin broke his previous records set with BTS solo tracks and other songs, solidifying his reputation as the 'BTS Frontman' and a record-breaker.

Furthermore, after achieving an all-kill #1 in 119 countries worldwide with his OST "With You" and the title track from his solo album "Like Crazy," Jimin established an unprecedented record with three songs, including "Filter," achieving #1 in more than 118 countries - a first for any global artist. On iTunes this year, Jimin, who has released four tracks - "Like Crazy (119 countries)", "Set Me Free Pt.2 (113 countries)", a collaboration with Taeyang "Vibe (103 countries)", and the main theme song for the Hollywood movie "Fast & Furious 10", "Angel Pt.1 (100 countries)" - is the only artist in 2023 to have all songs rank #1 in over 100 countries. This achievement is even more astonishing when the 2020 release "Filter" is taken into account.

AllKpop, an American Hallyu media outlet, reported on Jimin's unparalleled record, stating, "Jimin holds the record for the most songs ranked #1 on iTunes in the US, UK, and France, and he is the Korean solo artist with the highest number of songs reaching #1 in more than 100 countries on iTunes, with a total of six songs." They added, "Considering only sales from simultaneous releases without pre-orders, 'With You' ranked the fastest to achieve #1 in over 100 countries, followed by 'Set Me Free Pt.2' and 'Like Crazy', thereby dominating the top three spots in the shortest time."

Additionally, upon its release, Jimin's "Filter" entered both the US Billboard Hot 100 and UK Official Charts, achieving the unique 'Triple Crown' as the only BTS solo and included track to do so. Recently, it surpassed 400 million streams on Spotify, continually setting records among the solo tracks included in the same album and receiving unwavering love.
