The spotlight is on whether BLACKPINK's Jisoo will be appearing in the movie "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint."
On October 24, Jisoo's agency, YG Entertainment, revealed to Xsports News, "BLACKPINK's Jisoo has received an offer for 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint' and is currently reviewing it."
"Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" is based on a web novel of the same name. The story revolves around the protagonist, Kim Dokja, who one day finds himself in a world that changes according to the novel he was reading and the ensuing events as he tries to save the world.
It is reported that Jisoo has been offered the role of Lee Ji-hye, a colleague of Yoo Jung-hyuk. Previously, actors Lee Min-ho and Ahn Hyo-seop were reported to be considering roles as Yoo Jung-hyuk, the protagonist who sees the world change according to the novel he was reading, and Kim Dokja, who tries to restore the world with Yoo Jung-hyuk and his colleagues, respectively.
"Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint" is produced by Realies Pictures, who also produced "Along with the Gods", and will be directed by Kim Byung-woo, known for directing "The Terror Live".
Meanwhile, Jisoo confirmed her romantic relationship with actor An Bo-hyun last August. Recently, she also made a special appearance in the movie 'Exorcist Research Lab: Seol Gyeong's Secret', attracting the audience's attention.
