BTS's Jin's song "Yours" has captured the top spot for "Best OST", highlighting its global popularity. Jin clinched the first place by obtaining 63,926 votes (29%) in the "Best OST" themed poll, which took place from October 7 to October 24 on Choiaedol.
The main theme song "Yours" from the tvN drama 'Jirisan' aired in October 2021 continues to receive unending love, nearly two years after its release.
Jin's rich and melodious voice, along with his outstanding vocal ability, and the depth of emotional expression that further amplifies the narrative of the drama, led to its immediate worldwide attention upon release. This resulted in the song setting unprecedented records on various music charts.
"Yours" established a record on Shazam, the world's largest music search platform, becoming the first-ever K-pop song to retain the top position for 102 days. This follows Jin's previous record with 'The Astronaut' for the longest time at No. 1. Moreover, the song marked its dominance by securing the top spot in 106 countries(regions) on iTunes, thus certifying its global appeal.
