BTS member Jungkook has achieved 1 billion streams on Spotify in record time with his song "Seven." His debut solo single "Seven" surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify on October 30 (KST).

According to the World Music Awards (WMA), "Seven" broke the record by surpassing 1 billion streams in just 108 days, the fastest on Spotify's history.

Prior to Jungkook, pop star Miley Cyrus had achieved 1 billion streams in 112 days with her song "Flowers." With this new record, Jungkook has further highlighted his distinctive presence in the music industry.

By surpassing the previous record of 112 days set by global pop star Miley Cyrus's "Flowers", Jungkook's "Seven" has rewritten history on the world's largest music streaming platform, proving his status as an artist of another level. Previously, "Seven" had hinted at its extraordinary popularity by breaking 100 million streams on Spotify within a record 6 days. On Spotify's "Daily Top Song Global" chart, it maintained a top 10 position for more than 100 days, the only K-pop song to do so, and stayed at No. 1 for a record 68 days, the longest for any Asian artist song.

It also showcased its incredible power by topping the "Weekly Top Song Global" chart for a record 9 weeks in 2023, the longest for any male artist worldwide.

Meanwhile, Jungkook is set to release his first solo album "GOLDEN" globally at 1 pm on November 3 (KST). On the 31st, a preview of "GOLDEN" featuring some of the album tracks will be available, and on November 2nd, the music video teaser for the title track "Standing Next to You" will be unveiled.
